Outcomes of Microsoft's AIL and AI Cybersecurity Public Welfare Project in TW
The AI revolution is reshaping the industry ecosystem at an astonishing pace, and workflows and operational models across all industries are facing unprecedented transformation. Microsoft's public welfare department has commissioned this association (iABC-D&E) to collaborate with National Taiwan Normal University, the National Taiwan Science Education Center, and the New Taipei City and other county and city education bureaus on a far-reaching public welfare project: the "AI and Cybersecurity Skilling for TVET and College Students in Taiwan." Through a variety of training courses, international certification counseling, and competitions, the project aims to comprehensively enhance the AI and cybersecurity literacy of teachers and students in the vocational education system, cultivating globally competitive technology professionals.
This program has supported 40 alliance schools, 1,258 teachers, and over 19,533 students, and has also mobilized 1,939 teachers and students from 158 non-alliance schools. A total of 2,172 AI and digital skills-related international certifications (such as Microsoft AI-900 and GLAD AIL) have been obtained through mentoring. Furthermore, the program, as a commitment to social welfare and sustainability, encourages teachers and students to actively implement the program's spirit of justice and sustainability. Specifically, it has established the "AI Interdisciplinary Application Talent Sustainability Public Welfare Scholarship," the "AI Interdisciplinary Application Vocational Talent Cultivation Program," and the "AI Interdisciplinary Application Teaching Excellence and Excellent Teacher Award" for outstanding students, alliance schools, and teachers.
